‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ preview: Pheadra Parks’ emotional visit and more

On Sunday night’s all-new episode of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” you better be prepared to see a little bit more in the way of drama unfold … and this time, some of it is actually serious. The whole Kenya Moore vs. Kim Fields feud is rather silly when you think about what Phaedra Parks is going to be going through bringing her children to see Apollo in prison for the first time. It’s something that she has not done, and it shows her desire to have her kids still in his life, even though he has done some terrible things to land him behind bars.

Of course, there’s also still going to be a generous amount of silly drama, as well. The synopsis below all but confirms that this is happening:

“After working on Cynthia’s “mercial,” Kim is determined to move her directing career forward while avoiding any more drama with Kenya. Kenya’s Aunt Lori grills her about her new boyfriend, leaving her conflicted about pursuing a future with a younger man. Meanwhile, Porsha struggles to keep the photo shoot for her new lingerie line afloat without her sister/assistant Lauren to help. Kandi, Todd, and Mama Joyce find themselves in the doctor’s office discussing how many carats the “push gift” should be. Finally, Phaedra embarks on an emotional trip with her two sons to visit Apollo for the first time since his incarceration.”

Ultimately, let’s just hope that this episode brings you exactly what you’re wanting, and that is a lot of developments without just rehashing the old stuff time and time again.
