‘The Flash’ season 2, episode 16 video: More on Trajectory, Iris’ new boss, more

Trajectory -

When “The Flash” returns with new episodes on March 22, it’s certainly fair to say that Barry Allen is going to have his hands full. While there may not be Zoom to worry about at this very second in Central City, there is another villain running around in Trajectory with a very specific agenda: Getting what she wants, and also hurting Barry Allen in the process.

As per the promo below, there are some elements of this story that have been tried-and-true in almost every comic book story ever. After all, you’ve got a case here of a villain who probably looks reasonably similar to The Flash when running around (hey, she’s a scarlet speedster), and as a result of that some residents of the city may think that their hero has started to intentionally go rogue and cause some problems. Barry has to find a way to stop that.

Meanwhile, Cisco of course seems to be crushing immediately on the character, which makes us want him even more to find some sort of long-lasting love interest rather than someone like Lisa Snart or Kendra Saunders who you know have some other priorities. We don’t really think Trajectory is right for him either, given that her motives are not always the best.

While Trajectory may be the first female speedster that “The Flash” has introduced, she is not the only potential one in this world. We know that Harrison’s daughter Jesse has the potential to be Jesse Quick, and who knows? Maybe Harry himself is destined to be Johnny Quick in some shape or form. It’s still very hard to figure all of that out.
