‘Teen Wolf’ season 5, episode 18 reaction: Khylin Rhambo on Mason surprise

Are you still catching your breath after Tuesday night’s new episode of “Teen Wolf”? We definitely get that, since we had a chance to learn finally just who was underneath all of that shadow as the Beast of Gevaudan. (Warning: There are some MAJOR SPOILERS ahead.)

In the closing minutes, it was determined that it was none other than Mason who was the teenager underneath the veil, and who was in one form or another wrecking havoc all over Beacon Hills. There are still many questions out there in regards to how much he knows, how to stop him, and so much more, and we don’t have news on that right now. What we can at least offer you is the first quote from Khylin Rhambo on the surprising development. Just take a look at what he had to say in an interview per TVLine:

“I was so excited. Since I was first cast on the show, I wanted to be involved in some type of supernatural element. That was my dream. To be such a huge, ravenous creature — that was really cool. I didn’t even guess myself. I truly didn’t.”

Now, let’s just hope that the final two episodes of the season live up to all of this buildup and hype. This is the sort of problem that frequently comes around anytime that you have a huge reveal that has been the subject of great discussion. Unless you can pay it off, then it always comes across as an Olympic disappointment to many.
