‘The Good Wife’ season 7, episode 16 preview: Will Matthew Morrison take down Peter Florrick?
Over the course of the past few weeks on “The Good Wife,” the walls have started to close in on one Peter Florrick. We’ve heard the warnings from Ruth, and now those warnings are starting to turn into actions. The Governor of Illinois is in big trouble, and we’re starting to see precisely what is going to be done in order to ensure that he can find solid ground once more.
“Hearing” is the title for the upcoming installment, which definitely makes a lot of sense when you consider precisely what is coming. The synopsis below gives you a few more details as to what to expect:
“As the grand jury against Peter Florrick is assembled, with Assistant U.S. Attorney Connor Fox (Matthew Morrison) leading the proceedings, Alicia, Eli and Peter’s lawyer, Mike Tascioni (Will Patton), attempt to discover what charges are being leveled against him. Also, Alicia and Jason attempt to spend a quiet weekend together but are interrupted by her meddling family.”
There’s obviously a lot to look forward to over the course of the final episodes this season, and when it comes to the Alicia – Jason relationship, we already seeing that they are making progress. As for what that progress ultimately terms into, that’s something that remains to be seen given that Alicia is technically still married, and with Peter in the public eye, it certainly complicates things and then some.
Stay tuned, as we’ll have further updates as we hear about them!
