‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 6, episode 17 video: Aria, Liam talk about Ezra

The more things change on “Pretty Little Liars,” the more they somehow say the same … and the latest example of this can be seen in the sneak peek below from Tuesday night’s new episode.

Let’s try to do our best here to map out the situation that we’re dealing with. Aria really wants to do everything that she can in order to ensure that Ezra’s book gets out there and he keeps his deal, but the problem here is simple: She turned in pages for him, pretending that they came from him. She did what she could to protect him, but do you think he’s really going to be happy about it?

So after sneaking around and doing what she could to help Ezra (even if he didn’t want said help), she talks to Liam in the sneak peek below about the best way to come clean about sending in the pages. He thinks that the solution could just be Ezra going in, bringing in something different, and saying that he’s had a change of heart and wants to take the story in an entirely new direction. Whether or not that works is to be seen.

The problem here is that Aria has not been entirely forthcoming with Liam about her own romantic history with Ezra. Do we understand somewhat her hesitancy to reveal something like a romantic relationship with her teacher? Sure, but you would think that she as a character would know by now that secrets in this world have a way to not stay secret for long … and eventually, he’ll probably find out. She’d probably rather she have it come from her than someone else.
