‘How to Get Away with Murder’ season 2 spoilers: Someone will die by season’s end
Stop us when this starts to feel familiar: There will be a major character death by the end of “How to Get Away with Murder” season 2. It’s something that has been a fabric of the show since the very beginning, and it is also something that will probably raise many eyebrows in its execution.
Want to know more details? So do we, but we’re not sure that anyone is willing to be that forthcoming on the subject. Instead, here is what executive producer Pete Nowalk had to offer up right now in a new interview with Entertainment Weekly:
“There will be a dead body … That wouldn’t be any fun [if it wasn’t].”
Is there anyone that we consider to be absolutely safe? Of course, we’re going to throw the name Annalise out here because it’s really tough to envision her not making it out of this series alive. Plus, they’ve already given the character a near-death recently. We’d also say that Wes is likely going to be okay since he’s probably the only other character left this season who is firmly connected to Annalise in a major way that has not been fully explored just yet.
As for everyone else, we’d say that they are all fair game and that is a part of what makes this exciting. We lost Rebecca at the end of season 1, and that showed us that this is a series unafraid of doing big things to big characters, and not just people who are recurring for a few episodes. (Granted, this shouldn’t be seen as evidence that a major character will die; we just know that someone won’t be making it to the closing minutes of the season.)
