‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 7, episode 13 video: Is Enzo blackmailing Damon?

There is a new episode of “The Vampire Diaries” airing on The CW come Friday night, and if there is one thing that we can say about it right now, it is this: Things are not looking up for Damon in the slightest.

First, let’s just touch on the fact that the guy incinerated his hibernating-if-you-will love in Elena; now, Enzo is blackmailing him over this said action. He wants to Phoenix Sword, and is willing to do anything in order to get it. This includes, if it comes down to it, telling Bonnie the truth about what Damon did to Elena. He’s kept that from her, and as a result of that, his friendship with her could be on the line.

Do we think that Damon will confess to this? Eventually, but probably only once he feels that his back is truly against the wall. One of the things that we’ve really come to know about this character over time is that he is not someone who really likes to act based on what is the right thing to do. Instead, he comes up with his own definition in his head, and then chooses to act a little bit on that instead. This may be something you get a chance to see more in some other ways, shapes, and forms moving forward.
