‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 6 spoilers: A ‘twin twist’ is coming!

Ever since the beginning of “Pretty Little Liars,” twins have been a long-standing rumor in some shape or form. For a while, there were theories aplenty regarding whether or not Alison DiLaurentis had a twin, and that this was somehow tied into the story of the last big “A” reveal. As it turned out instead, the villain responsible for tormenting the women for so many years was Charles a.k.a. Charlotte DiLaurentis a.k.a. CeCe Drake.

With that being said, it does not exactly look as though the show is steering clear of twins forever … if at all. As executive producer Marlene King revealed recently on Twitter, there will be a twin who will be surfacing on the show soon. With that being said, who is this a twin of precisely? There are a few possibilities that are out there.

Alison – Wouldn’t it be funny of the show still found a way to do this?

One of the Liars – It really wouldn’t make sense for it to be Emily or Aria, but we’ve seen complicated pasts for Spencer and Hanna that could make something like this possible.

Spencer or Toby – Wouldn’t it be interesting to have one of the big twists happen to one of the guys for a change?

Mona, Jenna, or Sara Harvey – These are women who have had secrets for a rather long time, and if there was a character who would be in the know about having a twin only to hide it from some other people, it would almost certainly be them.
