‘American Idol 15’ results: Did Kory Wheeler, Manny Torres, or Adam Lasher make top 14?

Thursday night’s new episode of “American Idol” featured a number of duet performances, but at the end of the day, the fun had to stop and some of the results had to be read. This article is going to be all about reavealing some of those to you a little bit later in the night, so be sure to refresh this page as we get a little bit further into the evening. Judging from the way most of these judges’ results tend to go, we imagine that we’re going to disagree with at least a few of them. That does seem to be the trend these days…

So who has made it through to the next round? Some of these names are definitely predictable, in between Manny Torres, Trent Harmon, Olivia Rox, Dalton Rapattoni, and Jenn Blosil. As for some of the others, there was a little bit more controversy.

Are we shocked that Lee Jean and Tristan McIntosh are through? A little bit. We would’ve rather seen Amelia Eisenhower and Kory Wheeler in based on the strength of their recent performances. Also, we would’ve been fine with Adam Lasher. We think either one of those guys would have advanced in the event that America was voting.

In the end, maybe this is the biggest problem that we have with some of these results as a whole: We really wish that America was voting here rather than the judges. We know that will change, but this takes the interactivity out of this and that is something that we’ve loved.
