While Frank Reagan on “Blue Bloods” seems to be interested in re-upping his deal to be police commissioner, he is not someone lacking demands. Specifically, there is one thing that he wants done before he can sign on once more, and to him it involves respect: Having a sit-down meeting with Mayor Poole. The is what the entirety of the sneak peek below is all about.
Is this meeting going to happen? It’s fair to assume so, given that we know David Ramsey is going to be returning for this episode (a pretty remarkable thing given the guy’s duties on both “Arrow” and “The Flash” as of late). We also think that Frank will stay on board for at least a little while longer in this post, if for no other reason than that it serves the show better if he stays there until at least close to the end … and we don’t think that the end is going to be happening this season.
The nature of this particular scene itself is a little bit tense, but let’s not pretend that this is anything new for the show. While Frank may be a police man first and foremost, there is an element of politician in what he does, and that is something that he has honed and figured out more and more over time.
We’ll have some other news on this episode as it gets closer to it airing, and that will provide us the ample opportunity to analyze all of this further.
