‘Faking It’ season 3 trailer: Are Karma, Amy on the best of terms?
At the end of “Faking It” season 2, things were not exactly peachy for Amy and Karma. Fearing that she was going to stay head over heels in love with her best friend (who’s either not interested or just doesn’t seem ready to admit that she is), Amy made the decision to go away for the summer and work. As a result of that, it’s fair to say that things are going to be a little bit different when she returns.
As you can see in the new trailer below via MTV, the summer will have almost certainly changed things for Rita Volk and Katie Stevens’ characters. It doesn’t even seem like Amy and Karma are friends anymore for starters, and some other friendships have shifted, as well. Karma and Shane are now close after previously having a rather testy relationship, and there could be more distance between Amy and Lauren, who had decided to stay at Hester because of the sense of community that she had found there. That may not be the same anymore.
Do we think that Amy and Karma are going to be at odds forever? Not really, since this show wouldn’t be nearly as much fun in the event that they stayed apart forever. This new season will provide an opportunity for everything to be explored anew, but with a little bit of distance. Who knows? Maybe having Amy at arm’s length could start to make Karma think a little bit more about what the true nature of some of her own feelings are.
The new season of “Faking It” will air starting on March 15 at 10:30 p.m. Eastern time.
