‘The Big Bang Theory’ cast teams up with Conan O’Brien for upcoming TBS special

The Big Bang TheoryFor everyone out there who loves “The Big Bang Theory,” know this: There are going to be a fairly wide array of ways in which to celebrate the upcoming 200th episode of the show. Just one of them happens to be tuning in to the upcoming “Conan” special on February 24 featuring the entire case.

This event is coming to you one day before the 200th episode is coming on CBS, and the confirmed  Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco, Simon Helberg, Kunal Nayyar, Mayim Bialik and Melissa Rauch are all going to be sitting down with the host, and this will be a rare opportunity for viewers to see the entire group outside of their element and chatting in an interview setting. They haven’t been together for a Comic-Con panel in years, and they don’t often travel together to do other conventions across the country.

There is a lot of synergy in many ways behind this move. For example, “The Big Bang Theory” and “Conan” each film on the Warner Bros. lot in the Los Angeles area, and there are many repeats of the sitcom that air constantly on the same network in TBS that airs frequent “Conan” repeats. O’Brien has also done similar interviews with the casts of many other shows, whether it be “Game of Thrones” or “Orange is the New Black.” (What we’re trying to say here is that this will get some big ratings.)

Before you get around episode #200, there is one other episode of “The Big Bang Theory” coming up. If you head over here right now, you can get some other news regarding Thursday night’s new episode (which will be in part about Bernadette’s pregnancy).
