‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: Ben Higgins, JoJo Fletcher spend time at Wrigley Field

Monday night, there’s an all-new episode of “The Bachelor” airing on ABC … and as a result of that, we may see one of the happiest things that has happened at Wrigley Field in a long time. (We’re a Cubs fan, so we like to think that we can make this joke.)

As a part of the one-on-one date between Ben Higgins and JoJo Fletcher, the two get a chance to tour around the famed home of the Cubs, and really get it all to themselves. This was a pretty lucky thing for the two of them when it comes to timing. We don’t know precisely when these dates were filmed, but it was probably right around the time the team was playing in the NLCS or shortly afterward. That means that the field was still together and in great shape from the season; Ben mentions in here that he and his father talked a lot about the Cubs when they got to hang out while filming this episode, so we figure the playoffs were a huge subject of conversation.

Rather than us focusing for the rest of this article on the timeline, we suppose we will go ahead and get into the date itself. It seems like these two are having a rather great time taking in some of the sights and sounds of being at Wrigley, and they each get “Mr. Higgins” and “Mrs. Higgins” baseball jerseys. Pretty cute, right? There’s certainly some romance here, and it helps to further cement JoJo in our mind as a favorite to go very far.

As for everyone wandering around Wrigley in Chicago, we wonder if it was rather weird see the signage outside talking about Ben and JoJo. (Also, what if there was another Ben and JoJo out there? Could they come inside?)
