‘Downton Abbey’ season 6, episode 7 preview (PBS): New Michelle Dockery – Laura Carmichael teases!
There is yet another new episode of “Downton Abbey” coming to PBS on Sunday night, and we’re here as always to fulfill a rather-recent tradition: Sharing some specific teasers on what is coming up! We know that this is going to be a very big episode of the show, and one that will shock you, make you rather depressed, and also make you smile here and there. Let’s just say that it sets up the stage for the final episodes of the series in a rather unique manner.
1. Mary, at the suggestion of Henry Tablot, pays a visit to the racetrack in order to see him in action. Unfortunately, let’s just say that not everything goes according to plan, and this is something that she unfortunately will have to deal with.
2. Things are starting to move forward for Lady Edith and Bertie … but are there some things she needs to tell him before moving forward?
3. In going along with what we’ve just said, Michelle Dockery and Laura Carmichael are going to have some of their greatest performances yet, playing a wide array of emotions.
4. Violet has a surprise for the family, and this time around, it has (thankfully) very little to do with the hospital.
5. Be prepared for a story that sets up the future for the Mr. Moseley character in a rather nice way.
6. Tom Branson wants to be the voice of reason and understanding, but is anyone so inclined to listen to him anymore? Cue frustration.
We’ll have more reaction to this episode online later tonight.
