‘Madam Secretary’ season 2, episode 14 preview: Is Elizabeth’s family in danger?

There is really no rest at all when you serve as Secretary of State, and based on the promo below for Sunday night’s new episode of “Madam Secretary” entitled “Left of the Boom,” there is also no shortage of danger.

Going into the midseason finale of the show recently, one of our big concerns then was the safety of Elizabeth and President Dalton. This promo suggests that this time around, her family could be the ones in danger.

What we know at the moment is that there is some stolen uranium, and that has to be really high on the list of things that you absolutely do not want stolen under pretty much any circumstance. You really want to know where that stuff is pretty much at every point. This is going to lead to a huge crisis to try and find it, and ensure the safety of people both in America and also around the world.

The one other thing that we know is that this is not going to be a one-off story. There is another part of this plot entitled “Right of the Boom” that will air on February 21, which should give you a really powerful punch before we move into the Academy Awards hiatus the following week. (It’s only a brief hiatus, so don’t think that we’re going to be deprived of new episodes for a significant stretch of time.) We imagine that we’re going to have much more to say on this story after the episode airs, so be on the lookout for that and then some!
