‘Blue Bloods’ season 6, episode 15 preview: Erin’s struggle, Frank’s negotiations, more in ‘Fresh Start’

Blue Bloods season 6On Friday night’s “Blue Bloods,” what we saw was inevitably a tricky case for the entire Reagan family. While it did turn out that Erin was not responsible for possessing any drugs, this still caused the entire clan to be under a watchful eye more than ever. Controversy has followed around Jamie and Danny in recent months, and of course Frank also was very concerned about a book being put out by a former partner.

Next week, the show will air a new episode in “Fresh Start” that will present a variety of other problems for the family. Erin is forced to face her past, while we’re going to see the return of David Ramsey right in the middle of a tricky time for Frank. His future with the NYPD is still being sorted out, and we wonder if recent headlines could play a role ultimately in what we end up seeing.

The synopsis below give you a further sense of all of this and then some:

“Erin is overwhelmed with guilt after a man she set free is accused of killing a cop. Also, Frank and Mayor Poole continue their game of political chicken over Frank’s reappointment as commissioner, and Danny and Baez investigate a case of a cop who has gone AWOL.”

We do figure that “Blue Bloods” will probably end eventually with Frank calling it a day and stepping down from his post, but even with a title like “Fresh Start” we really cannot imagine that coming next week. Without him as commissioner, what do you use Tom Selleck for on the show?
