‘Girl Meets World’ season 2, episode 28 preview: ‘Girl Meets Commonism’ details; finale date

Girl Meets World -

For everyone out there who loves “Girl Meets World,” we come bearing some great news: Not only do we have some more information regarding the upcoming episode “Girl Meets Commonism” set to air on Friday, but we also have the confirmed air date for the finale entitled “Girl Meets Legacy”: March 11. Basically, that is just over four weeks away from the time you’re reading this. Given that season 3 is already filming, the timing does seem right to put this season to rest. That way, you’ve got a little bit of a hiatus until season 3 later this year, where we get to see Riley and company in high school for the first time.

But, for now, we have “Commonism,” which is a little bit of an odd-duck episode courtesy of the fact that it filmed a matter of months before some of the other episodes we’ve seen as of late. It’s largely filler when it comes to the long-term story, but that doesn’t mean that it will be boring. The synopsis below actually makes it very clear that there is quite a bit coming up:

“Maya and Farkle are caught cheating on a test and have to face the school honor board, which includes Riley and Lucas as members. Meanwhile, Auggie tries to figure out what he wants to be when he grows up.”

The thing that probably surprises us the most about reading this is the idea that Farkle would need to cheat in order to make things better for himself. We’re awaiting the explanation here.
