‘Saturday Night Live’ video: Watch Larry David lose it in Kevin Roberts outtakes

This past episode of “Saturday Night Live” was one of the strongest of the entire season so far, and there’s a pretty clear reason as to why for the most part: Larry David. The “Curb Your Enthusiasm” star has been spontaneous, hilarious, and so much more over the course of his multiple appearances on the show this season, and he especially was here during his full-fledged hosting gig.

In the video below, though, you can see specifically one sketch that was almost too much for Larry to handle: His introduction as Kevin Roberts. This video is a series of outtakes from rehearsals, where Larry couldn’t keep it together while reading some of his lines as “the coolest b***h in town.” We’re not sure why this was the sketch that made it hard for Larry to handle; maybe it’s because the idea was so ridiculous from start to finish, or just because he had to wear such an absurdly funny orange suit.

Either way, this video is great not only for comedy, but also because it lifts the veil on the “SNL” rehearsal, something that you don’t always get a good sense of when you’re watching the show. There are some of these that do happen in costume, but to go along with that, there are also some that happen even before that with everyone wearing their street clothes.
