‘The Fosters’ season 3, episode 13 review: We don’t know Jack
What in the world is going on with Jack on “The Fosters“? This is certainly a great question, but one that we unfortunately don’t have a whole lot of an answer to at the moment.
What we can say about the guy is this: He’s a sad and somewhat-lonely kid who is looking for a foster family to call his own, but at the same time he’s up to some shady stuff. Why is he calling out Callie about her relationship with someone else on Fost-and-Found? What does he really know? He’s an interesting addition for the show right now, but one also mired in a little bit of mystery.
Monday’s episode was probably best when it came to characters facing hard choices, such as Stef realizing that she needed to get a big surgery done in order to prevent herself from contracting breast cancer in the future, while Mike had to figure out what he wanted to do with AJ after suspecting his brother had a big role to play in the crash that almost cost Ana and Jesus their lives.
Oh, and we should also talk Romeo & Juliet just because it is still a big part of the show in one way or another. Brandon and Mat have realized that Mariana may be their perfect Juliet, which means their project is coming together … but to be honest, we’re having a hard time getting that invested into this. Jesus’ story is somewhat more compelling since he’s getting a chance to bond with his birth father, but at the same time, we’re still trying to get used to him being back on the show. Grade: B-.
