‘Scorpion’ season 2, episode 16 video: Katharine McPhee’s Paige gets protective

There is a new episode of “Scorpion” coming to CBS on Monday night, and based on what you can see in the sneak peek below, there are going to be some particularly interesting moments for Katharine McPhee’s character of Paige.

What this video below shows us above all else right now rather simple: She is very protective of Ralph, and is not going to let anything happen to him. He wants to go on a field trip with his college class, but here’s the issue: He’s still a young kid. While this may be a good trip to take when it comes to his education, it’s not exactly putting his safety first and foremost.

Luckily, it does seem like there is a solution in place that perhaps everyone can be happy with: Sylvester will go to help make sure there are no problems! With this being said, though, she also makes it very clear that if anything happens to her kid, that is something he is going to have to deal with … and he has a reason to be afraid in this particular situation.

Ultimately, we feel like Ralph will make it through this okay (the showrunners are not monsters; they’re not killing off a kid); the real purpose of this preview to us is that it gives us a rather great reminder as to how much Paige really cares about her kid, and how she will make sure nothing happens to him. We’re going to have some further information on this episode Monday night, so stay tuned!
