‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert’ Super Bowl Special: Start time; Tina Fey, Megyn Kelly, Key & Peele, more set
CBS is not exactly a network known for taking risks. With that in mind, we are rather thrilled to see that the network is at least trying something on Sunday night following Super Bowl 50 with a new episode of “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.” It’s a chance to boost up their late-night show, and do so with many big names following the biggest game on TV. We imagine that it will start at some point between 10:00 and 10:30 p.m. Eastern, but we shall see.
When you look across the board tonight, Colbert has a little bit of something for everyone. Not only will Tina Fey, Key & Peele, and Will Ferrell be bringing it when it comes to the world of comedy, but you’re also going to be getting a chance to see Margot Robbie (“Suicide Squad”) turn up. Hopefully, she’ll be doing something as Harley Quinn given that we imagine many people will be interested in seeing her do something of the like.
Perhaps the most surprising guest of the night is Fox News host Megyn Kelly, who has become a key player in the Presidential election. Donald Trump skipped a debate on the network following a controversy that revolved around her being the moderator, and Trump ended up losing the Iowa Caucus a matter of days later. He has since said that skipping this debate may have been a component in what happened to him in the state.
We’ll be around later tonight to discuss Stephen’s big show, so be on the lookout for a review of that in a matter of hours after the game!
