‘Downton Abbey’ season 6, episode 7 preview (PBS): Michelle Dockery’s Mary visits the racetrack
For those of you out there who have been following along the story of Lady Mary on “Downton Abbey” this season, then you will know a thing or two about how she is struggling when it comes to making things work with Henry Talbot. The two have a lot of love between each other, but at the same time they also have a lot of pain and hardship … especially Mary. She has to get over the fact that Henry works around cars and even races them, even though a car accident is precisely what is responsible for killing her first husband Matthew. (Warning: Spoilers ahead if you haven’t finished tonight’s episode!)
On next week’s all-new episode on PBS, Michelle Dockery’s character in going to have a chance to visit Henry at the racetrack … though it may be fair to say that things do not end up going in the way in which she wants. As a matter of fact, there could be a few events that put everything in perspective for Mary once more. The PBS synopsis for this installment may not be entirely revealing, but we do still think it gives you enough information as to what to expect to be satisfying:
“Mrs. Patmore has a grand opening, Mrs. Hughes has a plan, and Edith has a proposition. Robert receives a surprise gift, and racetrack drama stops Mary short.”
There are a few other events that you can also expect to see on this episode moving forward, and for the most part this is what we plan on putting on our focus on over the course of the coming week.
