ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 8 spoilers: The Stana Katic – Nathan Fillion story for ‘The Blame Game’
The idea of Castle screwing something up and Beckett having to save him on “Castle” is not exactly something revolutionary for the show. Yet, at the same time, it’s vintage … and that’s precisely why we love it. It’s an opportunity to see these characters in a familiar environment, where she has to use her police skills to protect him while he tries to use whatever charm and mind tricks that he can to get himself out of a messy situation.
You’re going to see plenty of great stuff from Stana Katic and Nathan Fillion on this upcoming February 22 episode entitled “The Blame Game,” and you can also see the full synopsis below courtesy of SpoilerTV:
“Castle is abducted and forced to solve deranged puzzles and mind games with strangers; Beckett and the 12th precinct race to save Castle.”
We imagine that a few more details will be made clear at some point over the next couple of days, but for now we’re definitely liking what we’re seeing. The writers are focusing on things that show fans seem to really like, and Beckett is going to have an important role in all of the first four episodes this year. That’s a nice change from her appearing intermittently over the course of the first half of the season and not always being at the center of some action.
The show returns on Monday night with an installment entitled “Tone Death,” and you better believe that we’re going to have more to say about that! A full preview will be up tomorrow.

I can’t believe the showrunners are listening to the fans of Castle and is finally getting back to the original Castle /Beckett story. They tried to change the chemistry but it backfired. Hope the showrunners has learned not to mess with us! There is 1/2 season left or it’s the end.

The more fans see of Fillion and Katic working side by side the better it is for Castle ratings. Nothing moves the needle like their chemistry.
