‘Once Upon a Time’ season 5 spoilers: Josh Dallas hints at mysterious places in the Underworld
“Once Upon a Time” is entering a whole new world when it comes on the air once more on March 6 … or we suppose we should say a whole new Underworld. This realm will constitute the bulk of the upcoming eleven episodes, and part of the fun of visiting here is going to be seeing precisely what the rules are. For example, how do people manage to arrive, and once they are there, how can they leave? Is there a way to navigate people to where they belong after they die? We first envisioned the world as a place similar to hell, but what we’ve since realized is that not everyone there is evil. Many of them are just lost.
In giving us one of the best teases to date on this underworld, Josh Dallas had the following message to pass along to Entertainment Weekly:
“It’s a place that, once they get there, they’re going to discover that possibly some of these people can be saved and brought out of there, because maybe they’re misplaced in this world … We’re going to meet some people down there that maybe you don’t expect or you haven’t seen in quite a while — maybe a family member of David’s we might see down there. There is definitely a particular person down there for David that he’s going to come across, and Mary Margaret will come across that person too.”
Who could some of these people be? We’re guessing that David’s brother is a very strong candidate, given that A) we know that terrible stuff happened to him and B) he is a good example of the sort of not-so-amazing person who could wind up in such a dark, dismal place.
