‘Mistresses’ season 4 spoilers: Jerry O’Connell scores meaty guest arc

While “Mistresses” is clearly still interested in keeping you guessing on what is going to happen with many of its female characters leading up to the fourth season, we can now at least tell you about one of the guys coming aboard … and also his connection to one of our regulars.

According to a new report coming in from TVLine, Jerry O’Connell is going to be around for at least four episodes (and maybe more in the role of a director) as a new nanny to Karen’s child. He’s someone who spends his time also working acting jobs, and there could be some really awkward comedy that comes out of watching him do jobs for her.

Is it possible that he also ends up becoming a love interest-of-sorts for her? The initial report doesn’t rule it out, and this idea in itself is very exciting for us! We’re always going to be appreciate a guest spot that offers up this level of entertainment, even if his presence could mean interesting things for Karen’s relationship with Alec. Vivian died at the end of season 3, but Karen still had Alec’s child and the three-way nature of this relationship is probably awkward and then some.

There is no premiere date for “Mistresses” season 4, and probably will not be for some time. With that being said, we anticipate the show getting to launch at some point in the summer. Stay tuned for more!
