‘Suits’ season 5, episode 12 preview: Donna’s brief interrogation
There are many hard times ahead on “Suits,” especially when you are talking about the ripple effect that comes out of Mike Ross being arrested. Did you really think that you were going to see him be taken away from the rest of the firm and put into a cell? You have another thing coming.
While Anita Gibbs does seem to be very much intent on taking Mike down, she has some other targets in mind, as well. Namely, we’re talking about Harvey Specter and almost everyone else who is attached to him … including Donna. You can see Sarah Rafferty’s character interrogated in a new TVLine sneak peek, one where she eventually states that Gibbs can’t hold her, and she leaves before she can say anything.
Unfortunately for Donna, Gibbs seemed to know that this would happen, and what she really brought her down for was to see who else was getting interrogated in the next room. Anita is taking a very psychological-warfare approach to the people at the firm, trying to find little holes in the armor and then use them to convince some of the people at the firm to turn against one another. So far, it seems as though it is working to a certain extent to at least unnerve some of the characters.
There is a difference between unnerving someone and getting the upper hand in the battle, and that is something that will be a focus most likely of the next few episodes. Oh, and hopefully we’re going to get some answers about who turned Mike in to begin with in the near future.
