‘The Good Wife’ season 7, episode 14 spoilers: First look at ‘Monday,’ Alicia’s arrival
When we were speaking about the upcoming February 14 episode of “The Good Wife” on Sunday, one of the things that we were commenting on the most was that CBS for whatever reason had held back on the synopsis. We speculated that the primary reason why was out of fear that releasing it before the episode “Judged” aired would potentially give away something important … and as it turns out, that is precisely the reason why they waited.
You can now see the synopsis below, and it clearly discusses Alicia and Lucca joining up with Lockhart, Agos, & Lee once more:
“Alicia has trouble adjusting when she returns to work at Lockhart, Agos & Lee with Lucca. Their first case, involving a secret new computer tablet, causes a rift within the firm.”
Ultimately, there was really no way in which CBS could have written this synopsis without giving away some sort of major occupational change for Julianna Margulies’ character, given that some of the main content of the story right now has to do with her working out of a new place. We imagine that there will be some tension between her, Diane, and a few other people, but the reality has to be that all parties understand the benefits of this arrangement. For Alicia, this gets her out from under a massive lawsuit just filed against her, while for Diane and Cary this is a chance to have popular attorneys on board to help ensure that they keep clients.
