‘The Good Wife’ season 7, episode 14 preview: Return date for Julianna Margulies, cast

Sometimes, “The Good Wife” makes curious decisions, and one of the most interesting came leading up to the new episode of the show Sunday night. Typically, CBS releases episode synopses for their installments a matter of a few weeks in advance, but they have not put out much of anything so far for their upcoming February 14 installment. Why is that? The only reason we can think of is that there are significant story elements that the show doesn’t want to give away.

The one thing that we did know when it comes to the next new episode of the show was the air date: Sunday, February 14. It’s Valentine’s Day! What’s more romantic than new episodes of “The Good Wife”? Probably a variety of things, but hopefully you’ll want to sit down and enjoy this episode after a night out.

After watching all of tonight’s episode, we have to imagine that this “significant story element” was Alicia realizing that she had almost no other choice but to head back to work for Cary and Diane. Her resources were tied up, and she needed help in order to tackle the settlement. Presumably, we’re also going to be seeing Lucca joining her. This is a way to get the gang finally back all together again, and we’re very curious to see all that happens as a result of this.
