SAG Awards 2016: Where to watch, live stream red-carpet pre-show

The countdown to the 2016 Screen Actors Guild Awards is just about upon us! In just a few short actors one of the more unique awards shows will be upon us, as actors vote on all of their fellow actors for a wide array of different awards.

So where can you check out the red-carpet pre-show for yourself? We’re sure that many are going to be looking over at E! given that they had a stream for the Golden Globes, but sadly that does not seem to be in their plans this year. You can, however, check out their red-carpet coverage starting at around 6:00 p.m. Eastern time on the network. That’s the best solution for those of you in the United States and Canada who have access to a TV.

As for everyone else, the SAG Awards website is advertising that there will be a live stream of the festivities that take place before the show, and that seems to be the best destination out of the ones that are out there. It’s at least an official stream, which hopefully means that it will have fewer hiccups than some of the others that are floating around out there.

As a reminder, there is no official stream of the live show itself unless you are a subscriber to TNT or TBS. You may be able to find some unauthorized ones out there, but we would never recommend using any of them. We’re going to be back tomorrow with our full take on the winners and losers.
