‘Downton Abbey’ season 6, episode 5 preview (PBS): New Michelle Dockery – Laura Carmichael teasers!

Sunday night’s new episode of “Downton Abbey” is coming your way on PBS in just over 24 hours, and as we like to do at around this time, we’re here to present some more teasers in terms of what you can expect! Suffice it to say, the storylines for certain characters are about to heat up.

1. For Tom Branson, he is going to continue working to find a perfect home for his new business venture.

2. Lady Edith has a new potential love interest! The question you still have to wonder, though, is if anything could happen to jeopardize it.

3. Mr. Carson and Mrs. Hughes are getting accustomed now to married life, but at the same time there are some issues rising to the surface. Specifically, Carson is a man who is used to things being done a certain way; change does not come easily for him. Good luck to Mrs. Hughes trying to figure this out.

4. Robert is going to have a particularly tough time during this episode, and as we’ve mentioned previously, be warned that one of the most shocking and visceral things that we’ve had a chance to see on this series over time is going to happen during this episode.

5. As a result of Robert’s circumstances, we could see what has been going on with Violet and Isobel much of the season thrust into the limelight.

6. Daisy is going to receive an interesting offer that could help shape her future, but whether or not she decides to go along with it is something to watch.
