‘Rizzoli & Isles’ season 6 video: Check out new footage of Angie Harmon, Sasha Alexander!

For those of you eagerly awaiting February 16 rolling around, we understand why. This is when the second half of “Rizzoli & Isles” season 6 is going to air, which is a wonderful opportunity to see what further adventures await Angie Harmon, Sasha Alexander, and the remainder of the cast.

The first thing that we do notice from the promo below is largely that the show isn’t really making that much of an effort to hide that Maura probably is going to make it out of her dangerous situation from the midseason finale just fine. Then again, we’re not that shocked. Would the show really want to continue without Maura around? It’s ultimately rather hard to imagine it, so think of this tiny glimpse of her as reassurance.

For the most part this second half of the season will feature Jane in full-on protective-mode, but at the same time there will also be some great opportunities to laugh and see some interesting / unique cases play out. This is a show with a real knack for finding creative ways to crack a case, and we have to imagine that this will continue for some time.

As we get closer to the 16th, we imagine that some more details will start to trickle in. Given that we now know that season 7 is going to be the show’s last, we feel like that does add a certain degree of stakes to try to make this upcoming batch of episodes the best that it can possibly be.
