‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: Ben Higgins, Lauren Himle’s modeling show

So far this season on “The Bachelor,” Lauren Himle is not someone who has had a heck of a lot of screen time. She’s almost been the forgotten Lauren with most of the season, as Lauren Bushnell has already received a solo date and plenty of screen time.

With the setting shifting to Mexico, the synopsis from ABC teases that Ben Higgins and Lauren H. are going to be doing something extremely different for a date in a high fashion show. Will either one of them fall on their face? We’re going to have to wait to find out. The synopsis below offers up at least a few new details:

“High fashion takes center stage, as Ben takes Lauren H. on their first one-on-one date to visit the famed Mexican fashion designer Pineda Covalin. He invites the couple to a behind-the-scenes look as he preps his models to walk the runway for his show in Mexico City’s Fashion Week. But Covalin has another surprise in store: He asks Ben and Lauren H. to walk the runway with his top models.”

By the time we make it to the end of this date, we should know whether or not we should be considering Lauren H. as more of a favorite as opposed to someone who is destined to go home either at the date or not long afterwards. The one thing going against her is that for the most part (there have been exceptions), winners tend to get a date before episode 5.
