ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 8: Are Alan Tudyk, Nathan Fillion working together once more?

Castle -For all of those hoping to see Alan Tudyk on an episode of “Castle,” it appears as though the time may be almost at an end. Based on comments that Nathan Fillion makes in an interview with Kevin Smith, it sounds like the “Firefly” and “Con Man” co-stars will get a chance to share a little time together onscreen once more.

If this turns out to happen, Tudyk joins a long line of former Fillion co-stars from “Firefly” to make it aboard. We’ve already seen Gina Torres in a role reminiscent of a “Real Housewives” show, while Adam Baldwin has made two appearances as Ethan Slaughter and Summer Glau is set to appear in at least one episode later this season. We’d still love to see Morena Baccarin, Ron Glass, Sean Maher, or Jewel Staite appear at some point before the series is over; we’re sure that many of them would be down for it. (Yes, we know some of them are rather busy.)

“Castle” is itself gearing up for a long-awaited return from hiatus on February 8 with an episode all about singing, and if this is not really your thing, there will be another episode airing on February 14 before another one comes on the 15th. This should help in some way to make up for that incredibly-lengthy hiatus, and try to reestablish where the show is now in the wake of everything that happened to it in the first half of the season.

As per usual, we’ll have some other news all about “Castle” as they come out.
