‘Agent Carter’ season 2, episode 4 preview: The truth on Whitney Frost and more
There is so much to be excited about when it comes to the next new episode of “Agent Carter,” which is hopefully going to continue along what we’d consider to be the string of awesome from the past few.
First and foremost, “Smoke & Mirrors” is going to give you perhaps the biggest taste to date of Whitney Frost a.k.a. the show’s version of Madame Masque, a woman who seems to be in many ways the Big Bad of the season. She is someone who has certainly an agenda, and it is up to Peggy and the SSR to figure it out and stop anything from happening. Also, we’ve got more of the awesomeness that is Kurtwood Smith. We don’t quite think that we have properly celebrated at any point this season the fact that he is a part of the show.
The synopsis below does a great job of at least laying the groundwork for what is coming, though it doe snot exactly hand over much in the way of new information:
“Agent Carter and the SSR learn there’s more than just a pretty face behind Hollywood star Whitney Frost, Peggy’s most dangerous foe yet.”
ABC is being rather coy about the story of the season at this point, though we presume that there is no real reason for them to get too liberal in how much they choose to share, either. After all, we are almost to the halfway point of this season already, and don’t they have to give us something to look forward to?
