‘Reign’ season 3 spoilers: ‘Arrow’s’ John Barrowman to play key adversary
While John Barrowman may be rather busy these days playing Malcolm Merlyn on the fourth season of “Arrow,” it looks like the actor has found another way to fill up his schedule with a CW show: Specifically, you’ll be seeing him on an upcoming episode of “Reign” season 3.
According to a new report coming in from Entertainment Weekly, John is going to be stopping by for at least one episode as Munro, a Scottish clan leader who possesses plenty of charm and charisma, but is also more than a little bit dangerous. He will appear in the penultimate episode of the season, and is responsible for the death of Francis in one form or another. With that in mind, we imagine that this will be an emotional moment for Mary when he first turns up.
The unfortunate thing at the moment is strictly the long period of waiting you are going to be stuck in for “Reign” season 3 to return with new episodes. The show is on hiatus starting this Friday, and for the time being there is no confirmed return date. Our personal feeling here is that it will be back on the air later this spring, perhaps either once “Crazy Ex Girlfriend” comes to an end or because all of the rest of the 2015-16 season has come to a close. We’re going to have more information once it is available.
For now, just be sure to head over here to get some further information in regards to “Reign.” Barrowman will continue to be a regular on “Arrow” in the interim, which will continue airing at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time on Wednesday nights.

They are still filming Season 3 which should wrap up around the end of February. That was according to Torrance Coombs I believe. So at least we should be guaranteed another 8 episodes. After that it’s up in the air as to whether they’ll be a Season 4 or not. I hope so.
