‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ preview: Is there drama circulating around Kim Fields … and brunch?
If there is one place you would think that people would be able to find at least some semblance of peace, it is brunch. After all, you’re talking about a place in which people just sit around, eat, drink early in the morning, and have a good time.
Yet, this is “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” and every innocent celebration turns out to be an occasion worth fighting about. On Sunday night’s new episode, we’re going to see some conflict surrounding a makeup-free bunch led by Kim Fields, which is somehow going to get at least one other woman upset about it. Meanwhile, she’s also going to be at the center of some conflict between Cynthia Bailey and Kenya Moore, which shows that despite having a few episodes where she was almost nonexistent, Kim is starting to come into her own this season. The synopsis below offers up some further details:
“Kandi and Todd prepare for Baby Tucker’s arrival with a refresher course in parenting, while Phaedra and Ayden get crafty to celebrate Apollo’s birthday while he’s away in prison. Kim plans an event for her new friends — a make-up free “beatless brunch,” but the ladies have some very strong opinions about Kim’s idea of beauty. Cynthia begins planning for her eyewear commercial and things get tense when she decides to have Kim and Kenya pitch their ideas and work together. However, one of the ladies fails to deliver, bringing their friendship into question.”
Eventually, we do hope that everyone figures all of this drama out, and Kim finds a more stable place within the show. That is something that, at least to date, we haven’t had a chance to see from her.
