For those wondering whether or not the cast of “Legends of Tomorrow” would be the same group of people from season 1 onward, we’ve now got an answer for you: Not necessarily. Like “Scream Queens” on Fox, every season could have a theme, and there could also be a great deal of flux as we move from one batch of episodes than anything else that The CW has done in this genre.
As a part of an epic publicity push for the show’s launch on Thursday night, executive producer Phil Klemmer had the following to say in an interview with Entertainment Weekly:
“There will be attrition, whether it’s mortal, people lost to the dark side, people lost to geography or time, and people will lose their lives … It is meant to be more of an anthology than the other two DC shows that Greg [Berlanti] has done.”
Hopefully, this means that we are going to get a shot by the end of this season to see who could be there for a potential second season, and also who may move over and appear on one of the other CW shows again. The great thing about people like Captain Cold, Heat Wave, Ray Palmer, and Sara Lance in particular is that they’ve all got plenty of storytelling room left on their original show. Therefore, it is possible to think that any of these people could shuffle in year in and year out while some new Legends stop by.
