‘Game of Thrones’ season 6 spoilers: Natalie Dormer on very different story for Margaery

Margaery -

Over the course of the past several weeks, we’ve gotten a rather great chance to hear from Natalie Dormer about “Game of Thrones” season 6. Why is that? You just have to look to her new movie “The Forest” as the reason. Everyone is fine to ask her questions on the movies, but sooner or later the conversation turns to the HBO series.

The latest example of this comes via a new Vulture interview, where she does her part to detail more of what could await her character now that she is still captured by the High Sparrow, and unlike Cersei, there doesn’t seem to be an escape in the near future:

“Without giving too much away, in season six, you’re really going to see Margaery in a predicament where she genuinely is fearful, and she absolutely has no idea how to get herself out of it…You’re like, Has this woman really been changed by everything that’s happened to her? Finally, after all these years in King’s Landing, has it broken her? Has something genuinely shifted here? Because she’s out of her depth, finally, and losing her grip a bit.”

This is the first time that Margaery may have to be reliant fully on someone else, since she is someone who is able to weave her way socially out of almost any predicament or crisis that starts to get in her way. There’s no real way to do that, but she may have an opportunity to do some of her best performing yet on the show as a result of it.
