‘Scream Queens’ season 2 spoilers: Who could be joining Emma Roberts and Lea Michele on set?

Earlier this month, Fox officially let it slip that they have ordered the second season of “Scream Queens,” a show that was at one point giving us a generous dose of anxiety in terms of whether or not it was coming back for more.

Now that we know that Emma Roberts, Jamie Lee Curtis, Lea Michele, and others will be returning, isn’t it time to hear about some of the characters who will be joining the fray? You may have heard already that the series is going for a hospital setting for season 2, and with that, it makes sense producers would want to populate the series with a few doctors! According to a new report coming in now from E! News, the show is adding four new cast members to the series, who are all currently expected to be men … and also doctors. That may be the most male doctors you see outside of an episode of “Grey’s Anatomy.”

At the moment, it is unclear if any of the male cast members from season 1 will return; unfortunately for many of them, it’s hard to be in the spotlight when the title references that women are meant to be front and center. We just want to see Glen Powell get some sort of work very soon, as we consider him alongside Roberts the biggest standout from a surprisingly-underrated first season.

The second season will premiere once again in the fall, which means that spring or summer will likely be the beginning of filming. We do wonder if the show will continue its pattern (established in season 1) of starting production in the spring, many months before the majority of other returning series.
