‘American Idol 15’ video: Adam Lasher returns with whole new look

Remember Adam Lasher? You may remember him from “American Idol” not too long ago, where he was known for a couple of different things: Being the nephew of Carlos Santana, and looking a little like Jimmy Fallon underneath the long hair and the headband.

For his return to the show this week, Lasher is taking a very different approach … and with a whole new look to boot! This was smart, since it gives him a whole new flair and an enthusiasm that may have been masked at times by all of the facial hair that he had last time. We also think the clean-cut look is going to get him a ton of votes.

While it’s nice to get Adam’s perspective on why he came back to the show for the final season, we do really wish that we had a chance to hear more of his performance. The guy’s crazy-talented, and it still blows our mind why he didn’t make it to the live shows in the past. With so many 15-year olds auditioning for the show this season, the producers could use some people with a little more experience to make the field a more interesting mix. Adam’s your guy, since you know that he has musicianship and vocal talent to go along with it.

As you are going to see in an “American Idol” article we’ll have for you in the morning, Adam is not the only contestant you’re going to see on the show this weekend with some singing-show experience under his belt. We’ll have some more on that in the near future, so stay tuned!
