‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 6 spoilers: Danny and a family story

Hawaii -Who doesn’t want to see Danny spending some more time with his kids on “Hawaii Five-0“? We’re sure that he does this plenty off-camera, but the reality here is that this is a crime show; you don’t get to see a lot of some of these characters in the spotlight unless there is something going on that is pertinent to a case.

This will be the case for Danny on the 18th episode of the show, but the good news is that while there will be action, it’s not going to lead to the kids being in absolute peril. Here is what executive producer Peter M. Lenkov had to say on the subject in a new interview with TVLine:

“They’re not really in jeopardy, but they get in a situation where they end up having their car stolen … They go to spend a quality day with their dad and their car gets stolen for a robbery, and they chase the car.… It’s a fun story that brings him closer together with his kids.”

In the end, doesn’t this sound like it will be a bit of fun for the show? It’s a nice change-up for the characters, and we’ll get to see all of them in a new situation where they have to handle high stakes in a different way. For example, Danny with his children is obviously going to handle being behind a carjacker in a much different way than he would in the event that they were not around.
