‘Bachelor Live’ episode 3: Lace Morris, Molly and Jason Mesnick chat with Chris Harrison

Lace -After Monday night’s new episode of “The Bachelor,” we of course had quite a bit to talk about on “Bachelor Live.” For example, Jubilee Sharpe and people freaking out over nothing! Also, Lace Morris’ prompt departure from the show. It only made some sense that one of the people who would be on the aftershow tonight was her. She is the first contestant to appear with Chris Harrison, and that’s certainly interesting given her personality.

Lace was joined tonight by “Bachelor” superfan Paget Brewster and also comedian Paul F. Tompkins, who spent at least a few seconds making fun of the show and their fake alcohol at the desk. Oh, we love Paul so much. We also had Jason and Molly Mesnick, proving further that the series loves bringing back their former stars for this … but we’d still prefer Paul.

The greatest thing about Tompkins for the most part here was that he was surprisingly sharp when it comes to his interview questions, helping Lace to relate to him while still asking pointed questions about what she actually learned from the experience. Yes, there was much kissing up to Lace, but nobody wants to beat her up with words in person.

For the most part, this episode was fun despite Lace not really saying too much other than regretting her drinking and not loving Becca being back for another go at love. The first half of the episode was actually quite the hoot and better than we expected … it’s too bad that the second half really did not accomplish much of anything and was a total miss. Nick Kroll has way funnier characters out there than the one he played near the end.
