‘NCIS’ season 13, episode 13 preview: The case behind ‘Deja Vu’

After a week off of the air “NCIS” is going to be returning with a new episode Tuesday night, and based on the sneak peek below, this could be a particularly chilling one … and not because of low temperatures that are forcing everyone to bundle up.

What we are looking at here with “Deja Vu” is a series of abductions involving young women, which could in turn become a difficult and personal case to take on. One thing that does intrigue us about this promo is that perhaps more so than any other character, Jimmy Palmer is in the spotlight. We recently wrote a whole article about ways to give Brian Dietzen more screen time on the show, and hopefully this promo is an indication of the sort of presence he will have in the episode as a whole.

Unfortunately, there really is not too much else that CBS has revealed about this episode as of yet, other than that we do know that this will be another one directed by cast member Rocky Carroll (Leon Vance), who has gotten more and more into this the past couple of years. We are now past the halfway point of the season, and there are many key milestones coming up: The 300th episode, and then at the end of the season saying farewell to Michael Weatherly as Tony DiNozzo, who had a tremendous run on the show and has been there from the very beginning. We imagine CBS will give more news on that in the near future.
