‘The Bachelor’ CarterMatt Podcast: On Ben Higgins’ first dates and much more with Jessa

Tomorrow night marks another new episode of “The Bachelor,” and before we get around to that airing we are here once more with our latest edition of the show podcast! There are so many events to talk about from the second episode, and if you look below, Matt Carter and Jessa have some of the highlights.

Of course, we begin with the subject matter that is on everyone’s mind these days: How in the world is Lace still there? What is she doing? Is this all about the show trying to milk this drama for everything that it is worth? This is something we are more than happy to dive into.

Also, we spend a little bit of time touching on the dates, including the absolutely horrific one that basically required people to sit around and smell each other. We’re not sure how this is a great idea in any universe, but clearly someone on the show thought that it would be a good idea to put some people through this. Poor Samantha is now going to have to deal with the idea of smelling sour for the rest of the time people remember this show.

At the end of the podcast, we go through a few elements of “Bachelor” news, including some of the early talk surrounding whether or not there could be a minority Bachelorette on the show later this year. It’s certainly possible, but something that we won’t know an answer to for certain until after this season finishes up.
