‘Girl Meets World’ season 3 spoilers: The latest teases for high school

The second season of “Girl Meets World” did not air a new episode this weekend, and as a matter of fact, we are six more days away from “Girl Meets Money” coming on the air. We’re near the home stretch of season 2, and as a result of that should you really be that shocked about us trying to start taking a look ahead to season 3? Our feeling is that you shouldn’t be.

In the end, we feel like the only mystery left is whether or not Lucas is going to end this season with either Maya, Riley, or neither one of them. It’s possible that he may just choose to go solo into high school, and figure out some of his feelings when he has more time to do so.

What the most from the show’s official writers room below makes it clear is that there are many more stories for the third season that can be touched on beyond just relationships. The team promises that you’ll see more of recurring characters like Zay, Smackle, and Josh, and also a chance to dive so much deeper into what life means for many of these young people. As they say, “Boy Meets World” got “better” after they went to high school. Can the same happen here?

The third season of “Girl Meets World” will begin filming on the Disney Channel at some point later this year. As for when it could premiere, our initial guess at the moment is either the spring or the summer.
