So far this season on “Bachelor Live,” the show has steered clear of including people who are “Bachelor” contestants on this season … for what we are assuming are obvious reasons. Let’s say that you have someone who is extremely nervous accidentally give away a major spoiler. The producers can threaten lawsuits left and right, but accidents can still happen.
Apparently, the producers are feeling brave since we have the first Ben Higgins suitor confirmed for Monday night’s new episode in Lace Morris, who certainly has been a lightning rod of controversy so far. She’s fought not only with Ben, but with some of the other women, and this is her opportunity to either A) explain herself or B) make sure that she is ready for her inevitable inclusion in an upcoming season of “Bachelor in Paradise.” There is a zero percent chance that producers turn her away from that role if she wants it, just because people are talking about her.
We wouldn’t take Lace appearing on the show necessarily as a sign that she goes home; she’s almost surely not going to win, and this could just be the right spot for her to come out and tell her side of the story.
The confirmed co-hosts for Chris Harrison in this episode are “Grandfathered” star and “Criminal Minds” alum Paget Brewster alongside comedian and man-of-many-talents Paul F. Thompkins. (Personally, our favorite work of his is as Mr. Peanutbutter in “BoJack Horseman.”) There is no firm word just yet as to whether or not Ben will be appearing himself on this episode.
