‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ season 7, episode 13 preview: See Callen on a hoverboard!

CallenCallen is going to be going undercover once more on “NCIS: Los Angeles” Monday night, and based on the sneak peek below it feels like this one is going to be a whole lot of fun.

Callen’s character in the midst of a programming-related investigation seems to be in many ways a deep-dive into the show’s version of “Silicon Valley,” complete with Callen moving around on a hoverboard while also talking about open-concept floor plans and wanting to go down a massive slide. He’s arrogant, goofy, and overall a good time … and he’s also hardly the Callen we remember. (This is probably one of the reasons why the cast does still enjoy working on this show; the LA team probably does undercover work more so than any other one in the franchise.)

Will there be a serious case at the heart of the episode? Certainly, but that does not mean that we have to be kept from having as much fun as possible along the way. These little moments are proof that the writers are keeping up-to-date with the latest headlines; with that being said, someone probably should have sent them all of the videos of hoverboards catching on fire. This was a popular Christmas gift this past year, but we can easily see it having a less-than-favorable end.

Stay tuned, as we’ll be giving out some more scoop on what is coming up later in the season not too long after this episode airs! Hopefully it’ll be one jam-packed with great entertainment.
