‘Scorpion’ season 2, episode 14 preview: Walter O’Brien and speed dating

There’s a new episode of “Scorpion” coming to CBS on Monday night, and with that of course comes a chance for some more humor! While we know at the center of this episode will be a more serious story touching on the relationship between Sylvester and his father, this preview below is more about fun … and speed dating.

We have to assume that this is somehow linked to a mission, but we still have to say that watching Walter O’Brien and Cabe engage in this sort of back-and-forth with various women is pretty hysterical. It basically shows every problem that the two have with social interactions: Walter is completely disinterested in the majority of social norms, whereas we get the sense that Cabe really just doesn’t care that much about anything other than being an awesome butt-kicking guy with a military past.

By the end of this, we imagine that there could be some regrets among the other members of the team for sending in these two to try and take part in this mission. If there was ever a case of something blowing up in their face, this could be it. Even if it does not work too well in progressing the overall story forward for some of our characters, we do at least feel like this is a chance for us to have a little bit more fun.
