‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 6, episode 13 preview: Stories for Grover, Chin, and Kono

The sixth season of “Hawaii Five-0” has been in the midst of telling some very interesting stories as of late for McGarrett, Danny, and many other members of the cast … but we haven’t had too many specific storylines to date for Chi McBride’s Grover. Next week’s episode is an opportunity for him to return to Chicago and try to tie up a loose end from his past: What happened between Clay Maxwell and his wife. It’s nice that the show is revisiting this, and it is not something that is being forgotten about thanks to everything else that is gone on. Also, we have to hope this is the beginning for some other stories featuring some of the supporting cast.

If you want to check out the synopsis, which includes more on a Chin and Kono storyline, take a look below:

“While Grover travels to Chicago to finally get a confession from Clay Maxwell about killing his wife, Chin and Kono are held at gunpoint by two killers who have no idea they are cops, on HAWAII FIVE-0,Friday, Jan. 22 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network.  Mykelti Williamson returns as Clay Maxwell.”

This will potentially be a great episode for Grover, but we’re hoping that the same is true across the board. The unfortunate thing at looking at this is that it doesn’t give a whole lot away beyond just a couple of little notes … but we do hear that there is going to be a particularly fun surfing moment in the episode, as well.
