ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 8 spoilers: Check out a small Stana Katic tease
It’s been a long time since there have been new episodes of “Castle” on the air, with the reasoning for that being tied to “The Bachelor” airing a live aftershow early this year. Typically, the show returned in January along with the reality show, but this time around, ABC is making us wait all the way until February 1 to see the first of what will hopefully be many fun episodes in the second half of the season.
Is episode 15 (which is likely airing in March) going to be a big hour for the show? It’s likely, since Stana Katic’s latest tease on Instagram suggests that it will be. Rob Bowman, one of the most prolific directors on the show and a man behind many pivotal episodes, is behind the camera for it. Also, it seems like there are some late-night shoots in it. Also, plenty of Beckett, which is definitely a great thing given that we had some long stretches without her in the first half of the season.
In general, we get a sense that there is a mixture of fun and some serious topics coming up. We’ve got a case revolving around an acapella competition and also one that sends Castle to a courtroom; at the same time, we’re also diving further into LokSat and getting more answers on Castle’s disappearance.
We’re hopefully going to have more news on the upcoming episodes soon via ABC, so be on the lookout for it here!

Are you F%@#&ng kidding me – now episode 9 isn’t airing until Feb 8th?? Why doesn’t ABC just pull the plug right now? Sure seems like they are working very hard to kill Castle !

Sometimes when I see some of the episodes, I think – who thought that was a good plot line? Beckett leaving Castle right after they get married and he’s okay with it?? How stupid, really…….That said, I love the show and the characters and hope it runs for a long time….just better writing…..

Everyone needs to chill out and stop being so pessimistic about the upcoming episodes. Yes the new producers may have changed the shows ethic and yes it may not have sat right witH most of the audience but they’ve learnt from it. So I for one am excited to see what is going to happen in the new episodes. With all these negative comments Castle may not be renewed for a 9th season and I am not ready to lose my favourite TV show and OTP . Now sit back and wait until the 1st of February before you start making assumptions. Thank you.

It’s a television show. People can complain if they want to and they have every right to, considering the crap we’ve seen all season. And I’m sorry, but it’s BS that the showrunners have “learnt” from their mistakes. They’ve outright said they don’t regret doing the storyline, even knowing the negative reaction to it. Nobody’s making assumptions, they’re formulating an opinion based on what the showrunners themselves have said and how they’ve acted. It should be canceled after season 8, the show’s obviously been going on way too long if they’ve run out of ideas and can’t come up with anything remotely original, nor do they know what their fanbase actually wants to see. Season 8 is a train wreck, and most people have tuned out. That’s why the ratings have been tanking all season. Put the show out of its misery, before they destroy it even further.

You might want to consider whether to use the word fun or not. After all, the showrunners have used the word a lot this season to describe the junk they’ve been feeding the fans more often than anything really any good. It’s still questionable whether or not they understand that the strength of the show has always been a combination of the leads working together, really together and not the faux version of this season and the marvelous supporting cast. We’ve gotten very little of either this season and it hasn’t been nearly as much fun as H&W think.

Sadly that appears to be what many are doing, the ratings have hit record lows on a weekly basis.
